Superman: How'z he do that?!

Superman's powers have changed and expanded over the years, usually according to the decade his stories are created in and the challenges his readers face in their society at the time.  As shown in the above piece by his creators Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Superman originally didn't fly, but was able to leap far distances like a grasshopper (this gimmick was later used by The Hulk).  Initially, the citizens of Krypton all had super powers on their home world, but this too was altered to explain Superman's abilities coming from the fact that Earth has a yellow sun and not a kryptonian red sun.  Keep up with me folks. . .
