I haven't seen the Tin-Tin movie. The work of his creator, Herge, as well as The Smurfs Peyo and Asterix's Albert Uderzo have been an influence on me, though in a very subliminal way.

- Pop culture has been the biggest influence on my artwork even though my parents were very much into the fine arts. Rauschenberg, Johns, Rosenquist; these were names I heard constantly while growing up, but I was more jazzed by the latest issue of Fantastic Four & Spiderman. This, combined with an early diet of '70s action shows & '60s reruns created my admiration for pop culture. I also lived two minutes from a toy store and for any young kid this leaves an impression, whether you're an artist or not.
